Studio42 Privacy Statement



Studio42 does NOT collect your personal information. We don't want the information and we don't ask for the information. The only information that Studio42 may get would be an email address for the purposes of direct correspondence and that would only happen if you contact Studio42 first. Studio42 will not contact you unless you contact Studio42.

Studio42 does NOT maintain mailing lists. Studio42 does not not harvest addresses. You will never get an email from Studio42 unless it is personal correspondence. Mailing lists are difficult to maintain. As such, Studio42 does not use mailing lists. Studio42 is strongly anti-spam, and we would be more than happy to prove it at the anti-spam section of the web site.

Studio42 does maintain black-lists of addresses used by spammers. This is done each time a spam is delivered to Studio42. This list is used for INTERNAL Studio42 purposes only to protect Studio42 resources from additional abuse. This black-list is not shared outside ot Studio42. If you haven't spammed Studio42, then you will never be on this list.

All Studio42 CGI's that use forms do gather a certain amount of information for troubleshooting, statistical and abuse prevention purposes only.
Such forms include the Email forms, web boards, guestbooks and other forms that send me an email as part of the procedure. Such information includes, but is not limited to:
  • IP address
  • DNS entry
  • Time and date of the inquiry
  • Browser type
  • Operating system

    Any personal information that is required is clearly labeled or the form returns an error and prompts for the required information. Whenever possible, only minimal information is requested or required. Such minimal information that may be required would be your email address, and that would only be required for the email form so as to facilitate direct communications. Your email address is NEVER added to a list, even if you ask and/or demand it be placed on a list.

    Studio42 will not share, rent, sell, lease or give away any personal information of any user and/or visitor for any reason unless it is being done to stop abuse or by a court order. Typically, using the email header and/or information gathered from a form-sent message are sufficient to stop abuse.

    Studio42 does not use cookies to track user's movements on the web site. Users are free to come and go as they please. We do not use Java, Java Scripts or Java applets to try and gather information without your permission. Such practices are unethical, invasive, intrusive and violate your privacy. Also, such practices require an enormous effort on the part of myself and I'm not willing to make that effort.

    As you can clearly see, Studio42 respects your privacy.
